With the NIke 6.0 “Air Mogan Mid Wake” and the “Cush Wake” having arrived recently, you may wonder… Is the season really about to start.  Well… for much of the country, the season is well under way and the reviews on these bad boys are coming in. 

Nike 6.0 Air Mogan Mid Wake shoe

Although this shoe has the profile of a mid skate, the Air Mogan Mid Wake can ride like a low by simply not using the ankle strap… Or should I say “use” the ankle strap for fashion rather than function. Either way, with the majority of the Upper being made of Nike’s Open cell mesh, the Nike 6.0 Air Mogan Mid is super light, super flexible and barely feels like any thing is on your feet.  Perfect for wakeskates with foam tape.

Nike 6.0 Cush Wake Shoe

A little less wake and a little more skate, the Nike 6.0 Cush Wake is going to be more friendly for those who desire Plentifull water expulsion while using traditional grip tape on their wakeskates.  Although the Cush Wake is a low top, the use of more traditional suade and Nubuk upper with the minimum of Open cell mesh, give this Nike more support than the Air Mogan Mid.

The bottom line here…. Nike, the goddess of victory, would be proud of these shoes that carry her namesake.

Choosing a winner was difficult with so many good entries. After sifting through a bunch of stinky old shoes we found what is in our opinion the best looking worst shoe in the bunch. Our first prize winner of the Nike 6.0 Shoe Give-A-Way Contest is Jeren from the sunny state of Florida. Check those puppies out. Jeren’s Reef Byerly Wakeskate Shoes have seen better days or have had some rough nights. He claims he has glued them together 10 times already, and we believe him. It is definitely time to get this kid in some Nike 6.0 Wakeskate Shoes. We are stoked to get him hooked up.

We were not planning on a second place but again the pictures were awesome. Wakeside would like to sort of congratulate, but still hook up Mark from Tennessee with a Nike 6.0 T-Shirt and some stickers. Hopefully you can bandage your shoes up with the stickers, but you will be look’n good in the new threads. Just one question, what do your feet look like after riding and do you still have 5 toes? I heard you didn’t need them all anyway, and yeah congrats on the winning of free stuff.
