Can the Byerly Wakeboard team get anymore stacked? Scott has done an amazing job putting a group of riders together that will help the company grow into something that will push the sport past what is right now possible. It is awesome to see Aaron Rathy, one of the future’s heavy hitters, moving up the way that he has in the past year. From landing 1080’s to getting awesome video footage he is a bright star in the sport of wakeboarding. Sounds like he might be getting down on a possible Pro Model for 2010?

We are proud to announce the addition of Aaron Rathy to the Byerly WakeBoard Co. family. Aaron was chosen to be a part of this program for his exceptional skills as an all around board sport athlete. We feel fortunate to have such a naturally talented rider on board. It doesn’t matter if he is on a wakeboard, wakeskate, or skateboard, Rathy is truly gifted. He fits our company’s mission statement of being a true action sport brand, not just a wakeboard company. We will be working closely with Aaron developing some innovative new products based around him and his riding style.

Wakeside Wakeboard Shop has started to receive 2009 Wakeboarding Gear.

2009 Hyperlite rolled up first with a load of lighter than air Hyperlite Premier Wakeboards. I am talking thick and smoggy Hong Kong air. They are light but not as light as fresh non polluted American air (that was a joke). In that same shipment we unwrapped the dope new 2009 Byerly Assault, and Byerly Monarch Wakeboards. The Byerly Monarch looks so sick this year with a gold top sheet. Within the last couple hours we had just received the highly anticipated Byerly Blend Wakeskate. The Byerly Blend bi-level Wakeskate has better ollie power and more board control than a flat deck wakeskate.

Liquid Force has given us both the NEW 2009 Liquid Force Soven Wakeboard Boot and Phillip Soven’s new Pro Model Wakeboard, the Liquid Force S4 Wakeboard. Although we are stoked on Dr. Phil’s new gear we also have recieved Liquid Force Vantage Boot and Amber Wing’s Liquid Force Wing Wakeboard Boot. Red Bull gives you wings but so does Amber.

Ronix did not disppoint releasing Parks Bonifay’s 2009 Ronix IBEX Wakeboard and both of their amazing Intermediate Wakeboard Packages. The Ronix Vault Wakeboard and Divide Wakeboard Binding Package features a beginner wakeboard shape that will push riders to the intermediate level faster. Don’t think you will be able to out progress this board too quickly. It has quite a bit of pop hidden in that shape. The NEW Ronix Divide Wakeboard Bindings feature the same chasis as the Ronix high end pro model boots for a low profile design. The Ronix Womens Wakeboard Package has the same features with subtle tweaks in design to fit the performance needs of women wakeboarders.

After its first nationwide tour in 2007, the Toe Jam is going international this season, to feature the world’s best wakeskaters competing for the most coveted titles in the sport.

Founded by Scott Byerly, the Toe Jam is designed to challenge wakeskaters in four categories including rails, wake riding, cable park, and winch-towed sessions. The newest addition to the tour will be in Wasaga Beach, Canada, at the former site of Wakestock. This stop and two others will give all riders a chance to qualify for the fouth stop (the main event), the Byerly Toe Jam in Orlando this September.

Rockstar Energy Drink stepped up again this season as the title sponsor for the Toe Jam Tour. O’Neill Vests will also continue their legacy as the title sponsor of the Tour’s final event, the Byerly Toe Jam. Over $50,000 in cash and prizes will be there for the taking with a $10,000 purse at each stop and another $10,000 purse for overall results.
