New Fundamental Industries Carbon Fiber Technology

March 12th, 2007 by Spencer

Fundamental Industries is a collective group of engineering and design professionals with more than 40 years of experience in the sporting goods industry. From mirror arms to high performance bike parts they have designed and implemented carbon fiber into many different applications. The wakeboarding industry has not yet seen true carbon fiber used the way it should be. Strength to weight ratios have fallen to looks as thus far been the application has been more for show.

Fundamental Industries Carbon Fiber Rack
Revolution Strapless Carbon Fiber Wakeboard Rack:
The Revolution Strapless Wakeboard Rack by Fundamental Industries is an OEM upgrade for 2007 Malibu Boats. The Revolution Rack incorporates the latest high compression mold technologies for carbon fiber with our patent pending internal bungee system. Carbon Fiber has great material memory along with a high strength to weight ratio…making it the perfect application for a wakeboard/skate rack. The monocoque construction houses four internally routed bungees connected to board hooks and extend from the rack to grip your wakeboard or wake skates.
Fundamental Industries Cabon Fiber Mirror Arm
Carbon Fiber Mirror Arm:
Another work of art from Fundamental Industries, this beautifully sculpted carbon fiber mirror arm is a welcome departure from a market inundated with billet arms. The polished & clear anodized billet four bolt clamp holds even heavy accessories securely, including LCD monitors. Accessory wiring can be routed internally through the mirror arm for a clean aesthetic appearance. The mirror arm is available to fit all popular tube towers from 1.875″ to 3.00″.

Wakeside.com has created the most extensive and well-rounded wakeboard tower accessory offering available at one place. Their goal is to serve the wakeboarding industry by being the leader in wakeboard boat and wakeboard tower accessories. Evan Park’s Boat Show Tour 07

March 12th, 2007 by Spencer

Wakeside Wakeskater Evan Park is trying to survive another cold winter in Canada. Skating with a drysuit can restrict a rider from doing everything they can in warmer weather. This year Evan does it in style by hitting rails indoors. Canada is at the forefront of the rail jam events. It seems like the neighbors to the north rival the shin digs Bill is putting on in Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas.

Evan Park

First stop was Vancouver BC. Evan went big in his home town boat show. In fact he went so big that he jacked up his knee in the process. Rusty Malinoski was also present and took the level of riding far past what was expected. The rail setup was an up to flat with a drop into the landing pool. Everyone had a great time and killed the rail for local boat show wonderer’s.

Evan Park

The next stop was a trip to Calgary. The best trick prize was $2K and the flat to down rail made riders work for it. An already injured Park gave it a go but didn’t want to risk another fall so he took it easy. The reel reason he went easy was so he didn’t scuff his Reef shoes. Keeping the kicks clean is key.Evan Park is proud to now be riding for Wakeside.com, Reef Shoes, Gator Boards, Billabong, and Von Zipper.
