ENCINITAS, CA - Liquid Force Wakeboards is offering customers the opportunity to demo the full 2008 lineup as well as meet professional wakeboarder Collin Harrington February 23 at the Carlsbad Lagoon’s annual event, February Freezeride.

In conjunction with Wakesports Unlimited and Carlsbad Lagoon, February Freezeride runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Liquid Force will have everything from beginner boards to the pro models, like the Watson and Shane, available for demo. Riders will get a chance to strap on the barely-released ‘08 bindings and give the new board designs a thorough beating on the water.

“What makes the February Freezeride unique is that a lot of the products available to demo are so new that they haven’t even hit stores yet,” says Liquid Force Founder Tony Finn. “It’s a chance for wakeboarders to try out lots of cool new stuff that we have been developing for the past year! It will be a blast!”

Along with riding the latest and greatest from Liquid Force, team rider Collin Harrington will be hanging out at the lagoon and will be riding for the fans to show off the full capabilities of the new product lineup. A barbeque and bonfire will cap off February Freezeride and ping-pong, basketball and horseshoes will be available throughout the day. It’s a guaranteed great time!

February Freezeride is free for anyone that buys a Liquid Force wakeboard or $200 in product from Wakesports Unlimited during the month of February; otherwise the cost is a minimal $20 per person.

Once again the Winter X Games will invade Buttermilk Mountain at Aspen/Snowmass. This year is shaping up to be the biggest Winter X ever. The half pipe has been freshly cut and the slope style course will be like nothing the competitors have seen to date. Three out of the four jumps on the course are bigger than the biggest jump ever at Winter X. Don’t forget to DVR the events starting Thursday.
