ORLANDO, FL - April 29, 2007 - Team Tige rider Adam Errington placed second beating seasoned veterans at the first pro wakeboarding event of the year.

In 2006 Adam claimed the title of Jr. Men’s Champion and had one more year of eligibility but decided to step up to the pro division for the 2007 season. Errington placed 2nd at the Wake Games in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, April 29th. Crowds gathered from all over central Florida to watch the pro’s battle it out all weekend at the Orlando Watersports Complex. Spectators and fans all agree that Adam is a force to be reckoned with. Every run he makes he is going huge and being consistent with very technical tricks.

Adam’s first run for the qualifying round of competition on Thursday was flawless scoring 100 points and dominating his heat. At the quarter finals on Saturday Errington was focused and ready to ride. “I have been training non stop with goals of placing at all of the Pro Tour stops,”stated Errington. He scored 95.5 points and took 1st place again in his heat during quarter finals. On Sunday after riding in the semi finals and grabbing a score of 95 points this guaranteed him a spot in the finals for later in the afternoon.

Sunday was a perfect day to ride with warm weather and very little wind. Errington took the water first for the final battle of the Wake Games. Adam set the stakes high with a score of 88.5 points. After all the finalists rode Errington stepped up to second place on the podium.

World Wide What?

March 25th, 2007 by Ronix

On December 18th 2005 the companny Square One was founded. Sitting in a cold barn up at Radar lake with some friends. Moving some tractors out of the way making room for us to all sit down. Thinking what would happen if we really could do it all over again. Who would we want? and How would it go down? From then til now has been more all nighters, highs and lows than we have ever had. Keeping our fingers crossed that we would be able to get better fitting boots, lighters boards - Danny to make the switch and ship for the 07′ season. In all our years in the wakeboard industry we have never had as much fun as this year. The adrenaline rush of sourcing a lighter, higher memory foam in New Zealand, graphic applications in Europe, and boot technology in Asia. We hope you have a similar feeling riding our gear.

Evan Park’s Boat Show Tour 07

March 12th, 2007 by Spencer

Wakeside Wakeskater Evan Park is trying to survive another cold winter in Canada. Skating with a drysuit can restrict a rider from doing everything they can in warmer weather. This year Evan does it in style by hitting rails indoors. Canada is at the forefront of the rail jam events. It seems like the neighbors to the north rival the shin digs Bill is putting on in Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas.

Evan Park

First stop was Vancouver BC. Evan went big in his home town boat show. In fact he went so big that he jacked up his knee in the process. Rusty Malinoski was also present and took the level of riding far past what was expected. The rail setup was an up to flat with a drop into the landing pool. Everyone had a great time and killed the rail for local boat show wonderer’s.

Evan Park

The next stop was a trip to Calgary. The best trick prize was $2K and the flat to down rail made riders work for it. An already injured Park gave it a go but didn’t want to risk another fall so he took it easy. The reel reason he went easy was so he didn’t scuff his Reef shoes. Keeping the kicks clean is key.Evan Park is proud to now be riding for Wakeside.com, Reef Shoes, Gator Boards, Billabong, and Von Zipper.
