Binding Fit

Consider the fit to be the most important factor when choosing bindings. Wakeboard bindings are supposed to fit snug; sometimes riders mistake this for the wrong size. The boot may feel too narrow but the determination should be where the toes hit the end of the footbed. If the toes hang over the footbed the sizing is incorrect. The materials used to construct bindings will stretch over time which will allow for a short break-in period. Manufacturers will suggest different sizes dependent on a riders shoe size. Entry level bindings are not size specific which will accommodate a wide range of foot sizes. As you move into the higher-end the bindings they become more size specific for a better overall fit. If the bindings are difficult to slide a foot into, biodegradable lubricants such Straight Line Lava Lube can make it much easier and prolong the life of the binding.
